Featuring an interactive voyage through The Beatles' career, the game includes not just their most memorable songs but also venues such as The Cavern Club, Abbey Road Studios and surreal dreamscape settings.
The basic gameplay is similar to Rock Band 2, with players able to play along as virtual band members on either guitar, vocals (including harmonies for the first time) or drums. Do well and you can unlock video and audio clips - some of which have never been released before in any other medium. For any Beatles fan this is the most exciting new experience to arrive in decades.

I am 20 years old and don't have a vast knowledge of Beatles songs. However, I was surprised at how many songs I knew once I started playing. The game is great fun and can be enjoyed by all ages - I had my parents playing as well as friends. You can literally pick up and play the game.
The guitar, drums and microphone all feel really well made. In comparison to Guitar Hero instruments, I would advise you opt for Rock Band versions. Picked mine up for £50 and feel like I have got a bargain. The rrp is probably a little high for the average gamer who isn't Beatles mad, but if you can see it for £65 or less, I think you won't regret your purchase.
Fab accessories

Having already purchased the game and used it with my guitar hero accessory. it was great to get the microphone (with stand), bass and drums, so we could have our own fab four. The wireless bass is a lovely replica, and comes with the solo buttons (unlike the guitar herio) so it can be used as bass or lead. The wireless drums are a electronic drum kit supplemented with a "Bass Drum". This is simply a nylon sheet with a springy wire frame. Not functional at all, but nice to look at. That said there is an embossed bass drum pedal that feels very real. Maybe if you has a real bass drum you could stick it on for the authentic look. The Microphone stand is fully adjustable and can accomodate my 6 year old daughter and myself at wither limit. The microphone itself is wired.
The only disappointment is the bass and drums are not compatible with band hero/guitar hero games, so should you would need to purchase more accessories for these. However the overall quality of these accesories is so good it would be hard to justify unless they come out with Band hero slade and the super yob guitar!

I purchased the beatles rockband LIMITED EDITION. I received the SPECIAL EDITION. There is a hugely phenominal difference! Seller should have known. My fault. You or her don't ship out of U.K., but I have a friend in Liverpool who it was sent to.After several e-mails they found the most inexpensive shipping to me in Canada. I had to send my e-mails to them because someone wanted proof of purchase (not included)at customs (apparently) so they would let it leave the country. It is my own fault. I paid 119 gbp for the item and another 89 gbp for them to ship it to me. They obviously did not know what I purchased as they are not that technologically advanced (ie: they don't play video games or whatever) as they are in their 60's. P.S. He actually saw the BEATLES live! They were trying to plan to come here and visit us as we did with them and I told him over the phone that w were going to have some real fun with this. I cannot tell them nor my wife, though if it is set up which it will not be that I received/purchased the wrong item. I have had a generally excellent conversation/response until after all this that I have spent a lot of money on the wrong product. If this was what was advertised...Honestly, I would be in my glory and so happy! It's all I really wanted and spent months trying to get the right item. Sorry to have a run on story! At least it's not a run on sentence! lol! Have to laugh. Don't know what else to do. Sincerely, Stephen Culley.

I purchased this for my grandchildThe Beatles Rock Band - Limited Edition Premium Bundle (Wii)ren.
The one who wanted it is 7, and he is a bit young to use it properly, but still enjoys it.
His older siblings really do enjoy it.
